Affectionately known as Mr. GLOBAL, Mino Tsuchida is the face of GLOBAL’s most iconic range of cutlery. His dynamism and relentless vision have led to the excellence in quality for which GLOBAL knives are known today.
It was an honor to make a documentary on the genius behind the success of GLOBAL knives, as well as a great challenge. While filming in Japan, we quickly realized that behind the very funny character of Mino, there is a rather reserved man. But the general manager of the company, Yoshi Noda, suggested that we accompany him to his birthplace in Niigata. This is where Mino told us a great story which became the common thread of the film.
